Located in Brisbane's northern suburb of Everton Park, Next Steps Kindy is a ministry of Northside Christian College and Nexus Church. 

The Kindy’s safe and vibrant learning spaces create the perfect environment to explore, discover, experiment and grow. Our nurturing staff are enthusiastic about instilling a love of learning and an experience of God’s love.

Our goal is to prepare children for the best start at school and educate them to discover their God-given potential.

Northside Christian College

Being located on the campus of Northside Christian College offers access to educational facilities such as the Junior School Library and the art gallery at the Centre for Innovation and Creativity. We sample school life by joining the fun of Under 8s Day, picnicking in the greenery while the big kids enjoy a music event, and participating in the Lower Junior School sporting events on the oval. These opportunities create a smooth transition for students continuing to Prep at Northside Christian College.

History & Governance

Next Steps Kindy Everton Park was established in 2012 as a ministry of Nexus Church. The Kindy is managed by a committee from Northside Christian College and values being part of the church and school community. Our kindy families come from all over North Brisbane, from Bridgeman Downs and McDowall through to Samford and Keperra.

Wonderful staff, lovely facilities and a very caring and enriching environment. We love Next Steps Kindy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
